I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Sociology however I’ve worked as a dog walker, babysitter, cashier, pharmacy technician (CPhT- in retail, hospital and compounding settings), administrative assistant and most currently an accountant. My hobbies are vast since I find everything fascinating (a blessing and a curse) but lately I’ve been most in to blogging (http://lookingatfood.blogspot.com/), photography, geocaching and watching my boyfriend race cars.
My mother always had issues with her weight so I learned from an early age that it was easier to eat right from the start and maintain a healthy weight rather than lose. I also learned, after she got very ill from a fad diet, that eating the right foods is different for everybody.
I really started to focus on healthy food when I began to work in the health industry (12 years ago) and became more educated about what foods do to our bodies not only physically but mentally as well.
