Once upon a time, I was thin. Mid-twenties, I started to gain (some of it due to my hypothyroidism, a lot of it because I'm a fast food junkie). A couple years ago, due to my various health issues, my doctor put me on a super strict eating program and I lost 40 lbs and got down to the perfect weight for my body. Kept it off for about a year, and felt pretty great.
But I started to slip one day and before I knew it, I was back to eating fast food 3 meals a day and I had gained 35 lbs back. I was determined to not be one of the statistics where you lose it but then gain it back plus 10. :) I have managed to lose about 10 of it over the last year but I haven't been very dedicated at getting the rest off.
But something snapped in me a couple weeks ago and suddenly, I'm focused and determined again to get this weight off! I'm a Lifetime Weight Watcher member that is currently having to pay every month and I can't wait to stop giving them what little my money I actually have, hopefully before summer! :)
I have an 8 hour a day desk job, spend the majority of my off hours on my computer at home. I also love to knit and play the piano and I adore running after my nearly 2 year old niece (the only running I'm willing to do *g*). I live a pretty sedentary life mosty but I used to be very active and my goal is to get back to incorporating more physical activity back into my days.
