i've been a bit of a bad girl lately...but i figure i am still doing pretty good so i won't get down about it. Had some cheesecake today and also found myself trying the mac and cheese at supper :) but thats ok, i also took a couple walks up town this afternoon, so i figure in the grand scheme of things, it evens out. I haven't weighed in a couple days, might wait til tomorrow...make it a week. Not too sure it will go down, but i already feel good with how far i've gone, so if it hasn't, well then maybe i'll actually get doing this 'exercise' thing that everyone seems to talk about ;)

okay, i wish people could know how happy i am :D i am down another 3 pounds pretty much and i feel so good. i even went to a party last night, LOTS of food and desserts and for some weird reason i didn't even want them. i'm thinking i've been doing so well, that my body isn't even craving it anymore...which is completely bizarre for me. i'm at the point where i feel comfy with things and if i want a treat i will have it and make sure i don't get carried away, the thing is that i am not really wanting anything bad right now anyways. I had cake last weekend and could have eatten it all...so i know to be careful...so unless i REALLY want something, i'll just have some fruit and carry on. YAY!!!!

oy i've had a bad weekend. i've been doing SOO good and then my cousin and his wife came out and apparently all my will power disappeared. Doesn't help that she's just pregnant and eating everything in sight :) ahhh i remember those days of insatiable hunger...anyhow, i splurged and had cake and more cake, seems that once it hit my tongue i couldn't stop. I am afraid to weigh in, but will anyhow, i mean, i guess its a good motivation. i'm hoping i didn't do too much damage and i know things will go back to normal tomorrow when they go home...i have 3 weeks before a convention that i was hoping to be at my goal weight. of course i have LONG since given up on that, but its ok, i'll keep at it.

I am thinking how its unfair that people who have lots to lose, tend to look down on people that only have 15 pounds or so...i mean, we are still fighting the same battle aren't we? of course, sometimes i notice how tiny some people seem to me and to see them wanting to get thinner, it does seem odd...so i guess we are maybe all guilty of it. I just think that if anyone is losing weight for the right reason, to get healthier and to make themselves feel better, then its all good!!! kudos to all of us for trying!!!

thanks for the suggestions. yes, i do need to get exercising more. i realize that 'diet and exercise' go hand in hand...and yet i somehow just don't do it :/ i guess its b/c i've always just been at 135 w/o doing anything, i'd eat what i want and just stay there...all that has changed apparently. So, yes, i am going to start walking daily, and my cousin has a bowflex...we used to have a good little routine going with it, but like all things, it fizzled out. i will try to get doing that again and hopefully things can get a jumpstart. thank you all though, sometimes even when you know things, its nice to get a friendly reminder :)
