I weighed in at 153 lbs this morning! That's the lowest I've been in quite some time. I'm happy to see that my efforts are paying off. I stick to mostly gluten and sugar free foods, and have recently upped my exercise. I've been doing yoga and Pilates for the last couple of weeks, and even in that short amount of time I can tell a HUGE difference! I'm not necessarily losing the weight in the places I'd prefer, but losing fat anywhere is a good thing! I can finally feel my back getting leaner and the top portion of my stomach is more toned.

I gotta say this... I'm a bit disappointed that FatSecret allows McDonald's ads on this site. I'm not totally against McDonald's, but MOST of their food is very unhealthy. I think it's irresponsible for a weight loss site to encourage fast food, when, for a lot of us, it is a HUGE struggle anyway. With that being said, WE are responsible for what goes into our mouths, not FatSecret... So hopefully those stupid ads won't entice us too much 😉

Gotta love FatSecret journals... I try to log what I eat before I eat it, because it helps to keep me on track. So after I logged what I was going to eat for breakfast (which was scrambled eggs and gluten free pancakes), I read Oliver's very inspiring post. It reminded me to remain dedicated to my weight loss goals. What really stuck with me was "don't rest in the middle, rest when you're DONE". I've been resting a lot lately, and I'm no where near done. It's going to take me a lot longer to reach my goal if I continue on this course. Soooo, I decided to skip the pancakes and drink more water 😃 It just goes to show how much we can encourage one another. Much thanks to Oliver and everyone else who posts on forums or journals. You never know who you'll encourage 😉
