I must have exploded my metabolism because my weight is now 145.8, and I am doing everything to get the fiber, protein and complex carbs can to build muscle, one density, lower my blood pressure, cholesterol, and BMI. My goal is a pound a week, so I'm beyond crazily thrilled that I'm nearly ten pounds down. I'd lost two pounds before starting the site's help.
It occurs to me that my body might be grabbing and burning muscle which is why I'm losing weight so quickly. I pray that I'm not losing muscle though it might explain the quick loss of weight. I'll have to check muscle mass to see if that might be the case. Can't have that for a healthy me

I'm amazed at how quickly weight has come off this first month. It is the weight that should never have been on me, but I'm not looking back. I give myself indulgences once a week, and I don't feel like I'm giving anything up while I work this caloric intake. I'm working to keep up with my calorie intake and put the protein and fiber into the diet. because of how full I am. Looking ahead, I imagine that will all change, but my new mantra is not to look back or forward. Be in the now.

BP diastolic down to 132 over 84. I could not be happier with that outcome thus far. The weight is part of reducing the blood pressure, but I'm happier to see the drop than my pounds. Yippee!

I'm eating more and not hungry. Eating happily without feeling as if I'm giving anything up. Is this the honeymoon phase? Tonight I'll be eating cheese pizza, so I know that will be off my ideal meal plan. I will enjoy it enormously knowing my long term health is on the upturn.
