Hello again!! I've been away for about a week and a half due to vaca. It was awesome and well deserved!!
Getting back on track. On vacation my eating was ok but the added alcohol didn't help but I did do my cardio!! That's hard to do on vacation. I have also decided to try the Body by Glamour program. We will see what happens. Yesterday was my first day and doing great and feeling great!!
GOAL for the week:
Stay positive ~ Cardio 30mins/day ~ 1700 calories/day ~ Strength training 45-60mins every other day

Well, the weekend was good...I ate better and I worked out. Summer is always hard when it comes to losing weight...with all the fun get togethers, bbqs and alcohol.
Even though I can't control things on the job front...I
can
control my food intake and exercise!!
GOAL til Friday:
1700 calories/day ~ Cardio 1.5 hrs/day ~ Strength training 30-45 mins/ every other day
GOAL for Friday-Sunday (Going to Vegas, baby):
Cardio 30mins/day ~ have fun and get some well needed R & R!!!

Well, met up with my trainer today and she did my measurements...ACK!!!! Not good, I went up in all measurements and in total body fat...the good side, I didn't go up to where I started. I knew it wasn't going to be pretty since I've been emotional eating pretty bad for the last week. I'm depressed on not being able to get a job. I've been laid off since March. UGH!! I'm trying so hard to stay positive but it's starting to wear on me and comfort food helps (for that second, then I hate myself afterwords).
GOAL:
NO emotional eating ~ Cardio 45-60 mins/day ~ 1700 calories

Weight in today: Stayed the same...good & bad.
I didn't do as much cardio this week as I normally do, my "monthly girl week" hasn't helped, and the emotional eating is trying to take me over. I've been a little depressed this week but feeling better now.
3-day weekend GOAL
:
Light on carbs ~ cardio every day ~ light on the alcohol
2 week GOAL (going to Vegas in 2 weeks):
Cardio 45mins, 6 days/week ~ no sweets ~ Lite alcohol ~ 1500 calories/day

Well, the weekend was great!! I participated in the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure 5k walk/run and it was AMAZING!! This foundation is so great and the walk was so inspirational!! I urge all to walk in it at least once.
As for my "diet"/lifestyle change...I ate somewhat good, minus the alcohol on Saturday. I feel good and am getting ready to go out on a run with the dog.
GOAL for the week:
Cardio ~ Tues-Sat, Calories ~ 1500, Body toning ~ 1hr
