I'm wondering if my increased discipline in getting to the gym is paying off in a bad way: my weight going up. Not by a lot but it's definitely NOT DROPPING! Hubby says muscle weights more than fat & that's the reason, and I'm probably "changing shape". I don't know but I don't like it.

My greatest challenge is carbs. Any grain products. Have begun starting my day with shakes instead of toasted whatevers. Seems to be helping. Still a challenge to keep the alcohol intake down tho still sticking to low cal beer and mixing soda with my wine (I know, I know: it's a sacrilege) but these little tricks do seem to help.

Fell off the wagon, so to speak, last night @ the movies. Went to see "The Judge" - highly recommend it. What I don't recommend is stopping at the snack bar like I did and paying $4 for a few lousy piece of red vine licorice which is like pseudo licorice sugar. Ate it anyway. I am going to work on self discipline for it's obvious, I am sorely lacking. Onward, downward and with a closed mouth, closed eyes at the movies, at least while passing by the snack bar!!

Have been slipping weight-wise, food-wise whilst maintaining exercise. Back to the gym today and am trying a fruit only day with a little protein given tomorrow will be a challenge simply because of all the temptations.
