I am 39 years old and in the worst shape of my life. I have taken a job where I am at a desk for 8+ hours a day. This is a first. I have always been on my feet and on the go.
I have let myself go so bad. Eating fried, sugary, fatty laiden foods and absolutely NO control over late night snacking. I weigh 5 pounds shy of what I did the day I went to the hospital to give birth to my son! and I had gained about 75 pounds while pregnant! He will be 6 this April.
I am under my doctor's supervision and no predetermined diet. My requirements are to keep a food diary and stay between 1200-1400 calories a day with at least 90 minutes of exercise, minimum 5 days a week.
I have opted to use Wii Fit Plus and The Biggest Looser games to keep me honest with my workouts at home. I have also ordered the Zumba DVD's to keep my workouts motivating and fun.
That's about it. I am determined to do this. I have done a non supervised weight adjustment before. I lost about 40 pounds then and kept it off for quite a while. This time it is about Living Life and Loving it. My health depends on it!
