Started cycling again last weekend. I'm getting bored with swimming constantly (6+ miles a week). Felt good to be back on the bike. With my hip replacement jogging/trail running is out. I can do it but its not the best thing for my titanium hip. An solid hour+ of cycling is 1000 calories burned, if I ride hard. I will try to start doing at least one long ride per week (2-3 hours), but cant let it get in the way of surfing. If there's waves I'm surfing!
Going to have a big Italian Easter dinner this weekend so will probably have to do a little extra next week.

Today will be the last day of 80% juicing & daily weigh-ins. Will continue to juice daily for at least one meal as I normally do anyway, but have some really yummy solid food recipes I want to make over the next couple weeks. Mostly vege recipes but also some grilled fish & smoked salmon stuff I want to do. Tonite will be another 2 miles swim after work, then surf in the morning.

Seamed to have stabilized which is good. As much as I like to see 10 lbs fall off last week, I knew it wasn't real, but just my body adjusting to 100% juicing. I'm still juicing all day & eating a meal at night. Fresh black bean burritos tonite, made will collard green leaf instead of tortillas. Love it!! 2 large burritos is less than 500 calories. Includes chopped red bell pepper & my favorite habanero salsa. Beans are homemade in the crockpot.

Still holding but I'm good with that. I will stop doing daily weigh-ins once I'm done with this juicing regime on Friday. I'll continue to juice but usually only one meal during the day. I've juiced for almost 3 years now & its part of my life. I do a 5 day cleanse a couple times a year.
For exercise tonight will be another 2 mile swim. I'm getting board with the swimming but with my hip implant its the best thing. Also keeps me in good surfing shape!
