Saved meals and under 100%
When it comes to eating a leftover portion of a saved meal I can not find a way to tell the food dairy calendar to record that only say half or a quarter is eaten for lunch the next day. A pain when it might have a dozen ingredients, is there a way to fractionate?
You can do it with single food items so I expected to be able to but can't figure out how.

To those who exercise: is it to lose weight or to tone your body
I do balanced exercise so some resistance with weights or pilates which adds tone so upping metabolism to aid weight control, and I do a little cardio for heart health which uses a couple hundred calories which I see as enabling me to have odd snacks my maintenance calorie intake would otherwise disallow. So I exercise so I can eat without rigid strictness.

losing self control
Your goal is a guide, it is quite strict given a 500 deficit is the usual recommendation so do not be rigid and maybe try to see your goal as a guideline with some flexibility. Or just change it to what is do-able. Its a marathon not a sprint. Im often 100 under or over at the end of the day.

Can't add foods to database with description and quantity I want
Just pick an option I've found then when adding it to your food consumed clik on it and it will ask the quantity eaten so if it is half the serve it says then put in 0.5 then tick it and add it to your record.
