Carbs at 13% and I guess it could be worse. Got so busy running errands this morning that by the time I got home, it was 3:00 in the afternoon. I practically
inhaled
that can of Vienna sausage bits. Also picked up a can of StarKist tuna to try eating fish, now that I no longer test allergic to it. Man, that Dollar Tree is quite the place!
This desperate search for a job and a new apartment is doing a number on my appetite, as in,
removing
it. BWAH?????!
Oh well. Tomorrow is get-up-way-too-early-and-do-the-laundry day, so it's off to bed for me.

Ow ow ow! Walked
all over
Capitol Hill today, looking for an earbuds extension cord. By the time I got home, I was
way
too tired to cook lunch (and then got way too busy to sauté brassicas), so I tore into the avocado I'd just bought. And, later, dined on sunflower seeds. Man, I love those seeds!
Gonna experiment with the tamari Fat Bombs soon. I just wanna clean my sink and go back to bed!

Ya know, I just didn't feel the eating thing today, either. Or, maybe I need to say "again". One pattern I
have
noticed, when I feel like eating, that is, is how after my 3pm Avocado Hit, I spend the next few hours craving something savory. Something
umami
. Like maybe one-sixty-fourth of a teaspoon of tamari. The initial taste is more of a salt shock, but the aftertaste is exactly what I had in mind. So i scoured the intrawebs for a Fat Bomb recipe with tamari, but to no avail. Guess I'll just have to "unvent" something. Not that I'm griping about it! It means more Mad Scientist experimenting with Coconut Oil and the bottle of low-sodium (tastes
way
too salty for that!) tamari. Bwah hah haaaaaah!
Okay, back to The Great Apartment Search.....

Just couldn't get into eating today. The weather is expected to be cooler tomorrow and Saturday, so maybe my appetite will return then. I was, however, "up" for making some more Fat Bombs, so I looked up a recipe for a 3-layer chocolate-peanut butter one. I'd read through it last night, and could
not
get the Algebra of the peanut butter layer to work out in my head. Cue Tom Waits, singing "Volume, volume." So, I "unvented" -- to use the late, great Elizabeth Zimmermann's term -- my own recipe. I also left out the sweetener, because a) lately, sweetened stuff has, for the most part, tasted
too
sweet and, b) sucralose has been known to cause some mighty nasty issues, which is why I don't buy the stuff.
Since I'm trying out an earlier bedtime schedule, I gotta sign off here.
Hey: my carbs are under 10%, yay!
