My 10 lb challenge starts today. I really only need to lose 5 lb but thought this might help to keep on track. Doing extra laundry today as well as an hour workout help to put my calorie deficit off to a good start!

Well, it's only been a week, and I've been really watching what I eat. Keeping track on here is helping me identify when I should be pulling back and getting my portions back under control. Today is a rest day for exercise. Will have to do some measurements and pictures again this weekend. Getting closer to my goal.

Well, this is very interesting. I'm only 3 days in and realizing I've been eating a lot of hidden calories. I eat fairly healthy but it's surprising how easily calories can sneak up on you! Only doing 1/2 hour workouts, and that sways the balance pretty quickly. Really thought I was being careful today, but without a snack yet tonight, I'm already at my recommended intake. That being said, I still have a calorie deficit.
Also went back to measuring my portions. Having to relearn this all over again. Time to retrain my brain!
