Down .2 for the week (even weighing in at evening, after dinner and so forth, stuffed to the gills). Continuing to trim down is definitely highly reinforcing!

losing 0.7 lb a week

I'm re-posting this week's weigh-in to add it to the 10lbs in 10 Weeks challenge.
I'm doing a little better on the protein part this week, but still not hitting 30%. My appetite was pretty off last week. It's starting to improve.
I have discovered that, while I love school, this semester's balance has been all wrong. Our house is a wreck, and I miss being at home and having time to take care of Denis. He has been keeping on top of the dishes for me, which I really appreciate, but I liked it better when he didn't have to lift a finger after he got home and I think he did too. He always used to brag (well, brag might not be exactly the right word) to our friends about that. I am really glad that next semester's schedule won't require so much time out of the house.

Okay, so I'm not even going to try to log everything I ate today. I didn't eat epic quantities, just little bits of a number of things, and now I've lost track. Should've done the logging while I was at it, but I was enjoying a conversation with Denis over pre-opera brunch.
Back at it tomorrow. Not that it is particularly essential tomorrow, since tomorrow is gravel ride day and I'll inevitably burn off more than I can take in.

I took a mid-week weigh-in this morning and found that I'm down 1.4 pounds since Monday (which probably means that some of Monday's weight was due to water retention, which I often experience after a long, hard day on the bike).
Thus far, the weight is peeling off pretty easily. It makes me wonder, though --
how much was I eating before
?
I wasn't gaining weight, but I've been maintaining a weight I haven't been happy with for over a year (with a dip in the summer, when I have the most time to ride the bike).
For quite a while, I just wasn't really paying attention to how much I ate.
At any rate, I'm glad things are working.
