Thank you, my friends, for your kind remarks and support. My main reason for having the surgery is not to lose the weight, which I have done twice in my lifetime, but to keep the weight off. I had the surgery at the beginning of December last year, and nine months later I'm still unable to consume even 1000 kcal a day. I don't imagine that will change in the future, so I should be able to keep from regaining like before. In any case, I'm focusing on the final 23 lb. BTW, it feels good to put on size 10 pants...which I've NEVER worn since I was a teenager!

Woot!!! I've lost 100 lb.! It took a year and a half, but I've done it! Still have 23 lb. to go to meet my goal. The best thing I've ever done for myself is to have the sleeve surgery. I have my flexibility back, and don't feel so sluggish all the time. Yea Me!!!
