This is the first time in my life I've truly tried to lose weight. I function best by keeping myself accountable. What better way to hold myself accountable than a weight-loss tracker that everyone can see?
I'm 37 years old and, recently, *perimenopausal*. I've never struggled with weight until I got hit with the big PM. Now I'm sweaty, cranky, and uncomfortable in my own skin. Over the last 3 years I've slowly packed on over 50 lbs. I hardly noticed at first....and then one day I tried to put on my jeans and they didn't fit.
I use humor as a coping mechanism, so you'll find me cracking jokes constantly. Despite that facade, I'm taking this weight loss very seriously. I need to do it for myself, my children, and our future.
