Hello!
I think we have a lot in common I got to 200 and was like are you kidding me? So I have changed my life style. First in November when I got down to 173 but then got lazy and slipped back to 184 come February. Now I'm back down to 179 and trying to stick with it forever because now I see it can't really be a diet, it has to be a lifestyle change or it will all just come right back when you fall off the wagon so to speak.
One thing I have done is, even when I don't have time to work out, (which usually means I just really don't want to go to the gym or turn on the wii.) I do leg lifts while I'm watching TV or sitting at my desk. Also I try to engage my core muscles whenever I'm walking around at work or cleaning at home.
I guess I'm lucky though, because I really enjoy the taste of most fresh vegetables so I've started eating a lot of raw carrots, broccoli and cucumbers. They're crunchy, pretty tasty (especially when you haven't eaten anything delicious and bad for you!) and pretty low in calories if you skip the ranch. I've started an organic garden in pots in our backyard.
I have also started hiking a lot with my friends. I just hope as more produce comes into season, the farmers markets open, and the weather gets nicer I can keep up the changes and actually continue to enjoy my already much healthier youth!
I hope things are going well for you too Roxy and that my advice can help you too and maybe we can encourage each other, because most of my friends are thin or don't care they're fat and unhealthy and I don't want to annoy them with all my talk of weight loss!
