Been using the digital scales at my gym and realised My scales at home have been out by 2kg this whole time. 🫣
So now I gotta lose 7kg instead of 5kg.
My Diet has to change again, Think maybe need to add whole grain carbs back into my diet such as cooked oats, quinoa, buckwheat, (I’ll try to avoid rice and pasta still) because I am not getting enough fibre and all the exess consumption of dairy and whey protein is messing with my digestion, making me feel metabolically sluggish, slow.
I still have not lost any of my “stubborn fat” but I’m definitely building muscle definition and improving strength, and I super enjoy going the gym and doing progressive overload on the weights.

Joined the gym, to push myself harder on strength and cardio. Still maintaining healthy high protein, high fat, low carb diet. No junk food/alcohol. Usually eat 1, sometimes 2 good healthy meals per day. In this past few weeks My weight has not changed, I’m still the same weight on the scales, but my body is looking noticeably better shape, more defined muscles, less cellulite. I’d say I could still lose 5kg of fat, definitely, but at this stage I’m not trying too hard to push the weight loss, I’m trying for “body recomp” to gradually replace fat with muscle, the goal is to reshape the body without directly aiming to lose fat. I guess it’s working, but it’s a slow process. I have to remind myself it’s a really slow process, and I can’t judge by what the scales say. The scales tell me I’m exactly the same weight in kg. My diet is not in caloric deficit, and not in caloric surplus either. But when people see me and they hasn’t seen me for a while they say “oh you’ve lost weight!” So it must be working, But I haven’t actually lost any weight, just swapped muscle mass for fat mass I guess. As I get more muscles I’ll gradually lose more fat too, that’s the idea!

Holding steady at 70kg. It’s really been a revelation that my body only needs about one quarter of the food it used to need.
My diet now is really simple: it’s just One large (regular size) healthy meal, and one snack (usually a big bowl of berries and full fat yogurt) per day. Plus 35g of whey protein drink with milk. The rest is green tea and that’s it! This is what is keeping my body weight steady. I do low-moderate activity every day, either strength training at home or hill walks on my neighbourhood. It’s hard to believe my body really doesn’t need that much food?! I feel like I’m starving myself- I’m pretty much skipping 2 meals- breakfast and lunch- cos what I eat in a day now is what I used to eat just for dinner!
But the opposite is true- I’m not starving at all, my body is fine, she doesnt need as much fuel! I’m sitting steady not gaining not dropping.
So that’s been a revelation. I used to secretly scoff and laugh at all those “skinny women” who would take a bite of their food then push it away in fear and disgust of gaining weight. I was the woman who would say “girl are you gonna eat that?!” And then I’d gobble it up in front of them! But I never gained weight, I was active, size 8-10!! Well, the jokes on me now, cos I ended up a fatty and they knew better, and now it’s me crying in front of the bakery looking at all the strawberry custard cakes and proffeitter rolls, longing to be reunited😭🧁🎂🥮

Did 20 minutes of sit up’s today and if you know me- you know that’s serious dedication because I hate sit up’s with a passion. But I love myself more- so I’m doing the dam Sit ups- trying to be better best friend to myself.
Seem to be sitting Stable on 70kg.
Trying to love myself and say loving things to myself in the mirror and not be hard on myself.
Have discovered sugar free Chocolate also which is amazing.
