A friend told me that she took 3 magnesium a day total and it helped her stay regular. I go way too long without relief in that area. Taking more magnesium has seemed to help. I'm definitely going to look for the North Star desserts.

It's been a little while since I've been on. Every time I think I've got something good going, something always happens to turn everything around. I had a bowl of ice cream night before last. That was the downward spiral, adding 2 lbs to my weight, and the craving for nothing but ice cream, it seems like. I'm going to make sure that doesn't happen any time soon. Maybe after I get my weight down another 20 lbs I can celebrate with a 1 scoop ice cream. I guess it's nice to know what gets things going the wrong way. I now know I can't eat ice cream. I think i'm addicted to sugar and I've read a little bit about it. I'm getting stronger about knowing I can lose most of this weight. I'm thinking positively about this problem. If I can keep most of my other health issues at bay, I can accomplish so much.

I've made a few changes to my diet, including the nighttime snacking. I loved the suggestion of eating string cheese instead of the fruit. That has helped cut back alot of what I was snacking on. I thank everyone that commented on my post. I loved knowing that somebody else has the same problem, and getting ideas of changing what I'm doing to myself. To look at my body, I would think I had lost more than I have. My stomach is getting flab on it, and that bothers me. I'm still doing aqua physical therapy, even though it hurts. It's supposed to help me with my balance, so I don't fall as much, it's not working yet, lol

It seems that I'm not going down very good. I've been trying not to snack at bedtime, but I'm not doing very good. I know that is one very bad habit to have now. Sometimes I'm not even hungry. I wish I could understand why I start these bad habits. At least tonight I've done a little better, I've only ate an apple and plum with a little pineapple. I have found out that the grapes I love, are full of sugar. Thankfully I have given up on grapes for most of the time.

The Victoza is continuing to help me lose weight. I missed one appointment of my water therapy, but I did make it to my next scheduled appointment. Wasn't feeling too good the first part of the week. Doing better now. After i weighed and it was 277, I was excited that I'm doing good on that part. While not feeling well, my blood sugar and blood pressure was high and now it's back to where I like it, under 100.
