Now we're talking!!! Was a bit surprised so I weighed on both bathroom scale and Tanita scale. Both are exactly the same so I'll take it! I did amp up exercise a bit this past week and ate reasonably well - could still do better adding more veggies which shouldn't be as hard as it gets hotter. Starting to feel better in clothes so that's a great thing. However, feet feeling swollen again and not sure what it is (this happened last year and I figured it was the weight gain). I'll keep an eye on it and see dr if necessary. Could also be those days I'm stuck at desk without moving. I try to get up and move as often as possible but very difficult when I work side by side with boss and he doesn't move.
Anyway.. Ready for another good week. Have a hike scheduled with BFF and gonna get some cycling in with hubby to get ready for the California Classic cycling event in May. Sending good mojo to everyone! Have a fabulous week!

Was locked out of FS for the past few days. Not sure why it does that sometimes. Had a good trip at sisters house with mom. Did a lot of walking and ate relatively good. Struggled sat night as they ordered pizza (my weakness). Had 3 pieces of pizza (1 large slice and two skinny ones so in reality it was two slices but made me feel like I got more). Maybe I should take a slice and start cutting into two immediately. Why does our brain do this? Loaded up on salad too. The scale says I'm up a pound but I don't officially weigh in til Friday so we will see. I think I did okay what with the stress of traveling with my mom (love her but we have very different opinions re religion, politics, and just way of life) so I'm always either biting my tongue or trying to change the subject so as not to make waves. I know this is a cause for stress and ultimately does not help in weight loss.
So, anyway....happy Tuesday everyone!

Happy with the loss but yet also frustrating that it's going so slow. I even amped up the exercise and did well with food (although I'm sure I could've done much better with veggies and the combinations of food I'm eating). I will try to focus on that next week. Just goes to show I can't stop now - if I did it'd just be harder the older I get (I think I'm a tad depressed cause I've always lost so much faster all the other times I've decided to lose and probably because I haven't had my coffee yet). 😁
Enough negative - it's Friday and I lost weight! Heading with my mom to visit sister in Sacramento this weekend. No boys! Have a great day everyone!

Hey Bill (aka Draglist) - my Tanita scale was just delivered to me at work! Excited to check it out. A little scared the numbers will be higher than bathroom scale. But I guess it's all relative. Will have to wait til I get home tonight (after work/after Wicked show) to really take a look. Yay!! New toy!
