61 years old. Went to the doctor three weeks ago and weighed in at 249 lbs. Things have got to change! Blood test revealed high insulin and sodium (not diabetic). In three weeks I am down to 232.6 lbs. I have cut out all soda pop and I add only Himalayan salt (just a pinch) to some food items. I have reduced fast food intake and started reading sodium and sugar levels to try and make better choices. I am down to 232.6 after three weeks. I am drinking water and I am staying away from all sugary drinks. After losing about 5 lbs per week I expect that the weight loss will start to slow down. For exercise, I have started walking. I am up to 3.4 miles on the week ends - hope to start a five mile walk per day.
