Ugh I’m so angry and frustrated. My wife just showed up with a dozen Krispy Kreme glazed donuts. We just had a conversation about eating well and incorporating that onto our children. Tonight, I’ve been struggling with sugar/carb cravings and then in creep those delicious glazed masterpieces. I got into a argument with my wife where I obviously overreacted. Then I stampede to the kitchen, serve a large glass of Milk and serve myself 4 donuts on a large plate and take it to my room where I plan on eating them like I used to. I know it’s wrong and there I am punishing myself. I ate one donut...just one...and take the rest back and throw them back into the box. I want to throw it the entire box in the trash but I know I’m being childish and Joe Pesciish. I just walked away and decided to use this opportunity to vent on FS.. thanks for hearing me out. I already feel better and I’m sure the kids will be happy to see some donuts for their Saturday cartoons.

After 2 weeks I lose another 3lbs. Not in a rush to lose weight. I’m looking at this as a journey and a lifestyle. It needs to be sustainable. I’m not doing Keto, however I am counting calories and limiting my carb intake and improving veggie intake with lean protein.

Just got back from a 5-day Vegas trip and I ate the best tasting food I’ve had in a very long time. Though I didn’t eat a lot, I didn’t quite stick to my diet. Back at it now that I’m home.

I’m headed to Las Vegas for a few days this week and I’m contemplating letting go and enjoying myself at the numerous delicious restaurants without restraint. However, I’m proud of my losses so I’m somewhat torn. Any ideas/compromises?
