Moving along...enjoying my Sunday! Perusing recipes for my better half...made braised short ribs a couple of days ago for him in my new cast iron dutch oven. I used to have one, but I think my daughter may have "commandeered" it! LOL I think a nice pork tenderloin with fresh veggies will be today's dinner! I hope you all have a fantastic Sunday!!

As I explore this site, I find more that I like about it. For example I can print a report of my Food Diary for either a day, a week, or a month. I had a bit of difficulty with the excel but the pdf file was fine. I will put it into a binder and keep track of things as well as use it to look back and see how I changed my eating habits.
I spoke with an RN through my company's health insurance plan and I explained to her what I was doing to lose weight. She was happy to hear that I was losing weight but then gave me a "generalized" diet she thought I should follow. I respect her opinion but, in MY humble opinion only; I don't believe you can generalize something like this. Each person processes different foods differently. Whereas one person can include say a cup of rice and have the body process it, there are those like me, who have a HECK of a time losing weight by including it. I say, if it works for YOU then its the right diet...so long as you are not harming yourself in any way.
Now I will get down off of my "soap box". :)

Today is even better because I am able to wear a pair of jeans that I had "out grown". I hadn't worn them in about a year and so I am even more compelled, nay, motivated to continue pushing forward. I have a wedding to officiate at in October of this year and a possible wedding in June. I have this great robe that is still tight and would love to fit into it by October or even better...June! :D

Moving along nicely. I have to re-enter foods from yesterday because for some reason dinner and snacks disappeared! Oh well, now a test for the old memory! Today I will begin entering my foods into a spiral notebook as a back up in case it happens again. :D
