Detox with fruits and veggies
I heard a good way to jumpstart your metabolism is to go on a detox with veggies and fruits for 3 days. The idea is to get rid of certain toxins. I love fruits and veggies and it doesn't sound like a bad idea, but I'm not sure if ALL fruits and veggies are ok for this kind of 'detox'? Have any of you tried it? Any comments or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks Sooki! and Gefd28... I know what you mean! But I still haven't gotten over the 'wastful' part... besides, its so much cleaner, faster and convinient to use the liquid ones!... (plus I don't have to hear my mom's voice inside my head: "people are starving and you are throwing out food?"

Can I eat Liquid eggs whites every day?
I discovered the wholesome and beauty and deliciousness in liquid egg whites! I work and study and I'm a mom, so time is always of the essence. Since I started my diet, I usually have 1/4 cup of LEW (Liquid egg whites)with a thin sandwich and a slice of fat free cheese... all this for a mearly 195 calories. It's so fullfiling and satisfying I just cannot stop eating them!! (I have a fruit during the morning also). I do balance all my meals and have fruits, veggies, meat, chicken, fish... so, is it bad to eat LEW every day???

Lower RDI than recommnded?
Thanks for your reply! what you say makes sense... I guess I will give 1,200 - 1,400 range a try and see how I feel with that! I'm a female, 195 lbs, 5'5" tall, sedentary except when playing w/kinect with the kiddos!... I'm bearly starting with this losing weight process and I hope I lose 50 lbs in a year!...
