In an effort to get my Lupus under control as well as arthritis, I have started a vegetarian diet with no sugar, no simple carbs, no gluten, no diary, no eggs, no beans, no nuts, no seeds and limited healthy fats. I have lost the weight that I had gained since my previous weighin and my joints feel so much better. I need to stick with this very restrictive plan for 30 days before I can try to add back some food.

Fluctuating weight but staying close to this for two weeks. I consider this an accomplishment. Normally after being sick, my weight would have jumped back up. So I’m appreciative of this plateau and hope to continue the downward movement soon.

I had gained due to sugars with the holidays, but I was unlucky or lucky enough to get a bad case of the flu. So I am back on the path to more energy and less weight! New Year’s Resolution is to continue on this path with less set backs!

I completed the 14 Day Challenge of Bright Line Eating by Susan Peirce Thompson, PHD. I have known for some time that I am addicted to sugar. This is the first time I have found a way of eating that will address my addiction. So I am following the BLE guideiines and selecting foods suggested in the Auto-Immune Diet to help my Lupus. I am really starting to feel better and like my slimmer self. It will take time to remove all this excess weight that I have had for years, but now I have a real method.
