Due to Lupus and other health issues, I am trying to change to a vegan diet while eliminating inflammatory and processed foods as well as gluten. It has been a long process and I still slip but when I stick with it, I feel much better and the weight goes down.

I had allowed my sugar addiction to interfere with my diet plan and actually gained 9 pounds. Now I’m back staying away from added sugar and processed food as much as possible and the pounds are slowly reducing. This is definitely a long, long battle and for me, slips are not allowable as they lead to bingeing.
