Just don’t understand why I’m not loosing more than 2lbs a week, been walking about 6.5 miles a day on average, actively burning 1425 on average a day????????? Doesn’t make much sense to me at this point. Thinking I may need to add a meal supplement shake or something like that???????

I know how you feel. I get over anxious to see results for what I consider a great sacrifice and actually is a great sacrifice. But too often the expected results are not there . The tendency for me is to just blow it. But this time I have to do something different. I can't quit. I'm taking it day by day. Maybe the body resists the change in routines and diet and even at times has trouble adjusting to the new eating lifestyle. To shake it up a bit, I'm eating some more carbs for a few days. I do need to add more walking. I'm still pretty inactive.

@Fartblossom thanks, I’m going to do the same as well but add a meal replacement shake to a different meal daily and see if that does improve the overall loss of weight.

Just an update; completed a 2.1 mile walk with a split time of 19m 50s. First ever mile under 20 minutes.

Remember bud a thing that a lot of people don't take into consideration. Is if we lose weight to quickly it can lead to excess skin and nobody wants that. There's also a point of the "skinny fat" look that can happen as well. I know it's easier for me to say now because I'm a little further along in the process. But what you're doing is working. Just be patient and stack as many good days away as you can. Every day and every chance that you do something you're old self would've never done. You have earned another hard earn victory. Another analogy people like to use is the building a house. You have to set a foundation and then build upon it. Keep at it... but don't rush the process. You'll be there before you know it!

Hey Joe; I’m sorry but I’m going to let you down today, after getting my allergy shots this morning, I had an adverse reaction and cause me to get sick; I ended up getting a massive headache and severe congestion and dehydration, so I bought me some Gatorade and had grilled chicken wings for lunch and so far that was it. While at drs office was told to rest and take it easy for a few days and not to worry about dieting for a bit but I still will count and track whatever I put in my mouth and consume. Sorry buddy.

No need to apologize to me Rob. I'm just a friend and a supporter of yours. That means through the good and the bad days. Take a few days and gather yourself up. Here's to better days ahead! I tell you I've binge ate and did a lot of other dumb shit throughout my journey. So I'm no angel either man! All we can do is the best we can do. Sometimes that means mcdonalds last nite for me and wings for you😂
