I just took my measurment and weight. I am 3 lbs heavier than I was a year ago when I decided to "get into shape" During the last year I went from 166 down to 154 now back up to 169. I have been doing really bad on the gluten! even knowing how sick it makes me dosnt seem to stop me. I was feeling better as well as my weight was in better control when I stayed off the gluten, not to mention my kidney counts improved! I keep telling myself....
Eat to live dont live to eat!!!!!
I just filled out my food journal for the first time! No wonder I am not loosing anything! I didnt think I ate that much until I wrote it down. I had only eaten 420 Cal up until dinner. ended my day 2000+ Wow that really showed me what I am doing.
169.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 24.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Yep! The food journal here is awesome, I've seen it help so many people in so many different situations. Only up 3 pounds in a year...I say that's great and shows that you are capable! Imagine what you can do now that you're really giving it serious effort! The sky's the limit.

Yes, journaling food is so valuable! It really makes you see where all the calories are coming from and for me, it makes me think of if a bite is worth the calories or not. 1200-1400 calories a day is it if I want to continue to lose, for my body. You will love the tools you can use here to help you see what is key for you and what works best to help you out. Let us know if there is anything that you struggle with!!
