Well at this point I’m losing on average 800g per week. So 4kg over 5 weeks. What I have noticed is my work shift pattern has an effect on my weight loss journey. I work 2 x13 hour days then 2x13 hour night shifts followed by 5 days off. I am losing 85% of my weight on my days off and whilst working my weight bounces. Night shift eating and body functions are so different than normal lifestyle. Nights you become dehydrated which can lead into bloating. Food is not digested in the same manner.
For me it is a new education for when eating works best during nights to fill my body with energy to get through the night and not to go home in the morning to have breakfast before going to bed. I’m finding my night shift sleeping period is also changing from 4 to 6 & even 7 hours now with less sugar in my blood before going to bed.
Less is becoming more for me.
196.2 lb Lost so far: 8.8 lb.    Still to go: 13.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
