i just lost focus this week, no excuses. I'm 11 pounds to my goal (I stopped weighing myself at 197. I know i went over 200). I will definitely buckle down this week. I've been getting ravenous with hunger around 10 and don't care at that moment, I just need food!! Think I'll up my calories, eat more fat and protein at dinner and see if I can curb the nightime hunger wolf inside me. 🤪 *this is so hard

If it's not in the house, you're not likely to eat it. There's no snacks in my kitchen, so if I'm reaaaaallllly jonesing for something at night, I have to get dressed, put makeup back on, and go out to buy it. So 99% of the time the craving fails, and I wake up relieved. If you're the grocery shopper in your family, you control the pantry and fridge.

I find if I let myself get too hungry, that's when I eat too fast and too much. Maybe upping your calories will help. Worth a shot!

Check out this account on IG, I follow this guy. lots of great health & weight loss tips. I also read a great book called “The Adrenal Reset Diet” by Dr Alan Christianson. He talks about carb cycling and that we should eat a small amount of carbs in the AM and more carbs at dinner. He explains all the science behind it in regards to cortisol, etc. I did his diet a couple years ago and I’m getting back into it recently. I felt amazing, balanced blood sugar, no uncontrolled craving/ binges.
