I started my 2 Week Pre-Op Diet on Tuesday (June 12, 2012) in preparation for my Gastric Bypass Roux En Y Surgery which is scheduled for June 26, 2012. I feel as if I have done pretty good regarding following the Pre-Op diet, however, I have noticed that I am not consuming enough food, yet I have not been hungary most of the time. I also am having difficulty consuming enough water during each day. It was recommended that I drink 80 oz. of water each day. I am still working on improving that aspect. Overall, I feel pretty good, and I am looking forward to my surgery in 11 days. I also have realized that I am also defient on my required hours of sleep. I have a tendency to stay up late, toss and turn most of the night and then get up mid-morning, even though I am using my CPAP machine for my sleep apnea problem.
