I’m not doing keto, just tracking calories and low carb due to being gluten free for medical issues. I crave chocolate constantly. 1 Tbsp of semi sweet chocolate chips is enough to help me. I also will melt coconut oil with cocoa powder and honey or maple syrup for a fix. Moderation and not depriving myself is what works for me.

I have heard that if a person constantly craves chocolate, that your body is low in magnesium - try healthier choices like spinach, pumpkins seeds, almonds, & black beans. Sure dark chocolate is great every once in a while - but you have to watch the sugar content if you are trying to lose weight.

I'm not so much trying to lose weight now more maintain but I always try to lose more. And I don't know if I have low magnesium I just got a blood test on Thursday and they say I have anemia but nothing else about my magnesiim being low but then again I don't know. My mother in law works in a chocolate factory and she just got a hoodie bag from them for Easter so maybe that's why I'm craving it more so far I've had a handful of chocolate a day but I feel guilty after words but I can't stop

When I was pregnant I craved chocolate a lot. With high sugar, I couldn't. But my hubby found chocolate for diabetics at shoppers drug mart. It was approved by my doctor. Try that.

I'm not a sugary foods snacker, but I just can't push away the thoughts of a Tim Hortons Honey Cruller donut...I'm trying to be tough and ignore it. The saying I tell myself: nothing tastes as good as skinny feels!

Hi guys. I just started using the app and trying to do vegetarian Keto and I haven’t got it figured out yet. Someone mentioned going into the orange. What does that mean? Also, in my macros I seem to be getting way too much fat and I am way under in carbohydrates. I am confused. Any suggestions of how to increase the carbs and reduce fats would be welcome. I don’t feel I am consuming too many fats? Any help in understanding the whole Keto thing would be great.

Classic symptom of magnesium deficiency. Either take magnesium supplements, eat walnuts, or eat 90% cacao chocolate. It's not bad for you; the sugar is.

As to understanding Keto Mellag1, your ratio should be around 65-70% fats, 20-25% protein, and around 10-15% carbs of your calorie consumption. You definitely don't want to reduce fat and increase carbs. Then you're not doing keto. You want to be in ketosis to burn fat.
