I am a finisher no matter what, I started 4-5 years ago at 154 hoping to get to 135..Ended up closer to 180, now I am 161. My final goal is 140-145. At age 49 and a large frame, I will be happy with my 145.

Slow finisher, but will stay on the journey. 5 years and 130 lbs gone, slow and steady. One of the hardest things is maintenance. I don't think of finishing, but just continuing. :)

For me, it has to be a constant for the rest of my life. I'm not concerned as much about a weight goal as I am the behavioral goals. High blood pressure brought me here and then I learned so much more about how my behaviors were leading to poorer health choices. Since being here, I found out just how much coffee and sugared starches raised cortisol levels. During the x-mas season, I tossed in the towel and consumed beyond my daily goal of coffee and also consumed those awesome desserts I made, including cookies and fudge. The headaches are back as I cut myself back on the coffee. I'll stop right there. Cortisol is NOT my friend.

I will never finish! This will be a forever journey for me!! I WILL make the best of what’s to come. Challenges will arise, I’m sure of it, but this is a test of will and by god... it will not defeat me! I’m a strong woman and I refuse to let this addiction beat me! #FyouFoodAddiction
