I find reading articles and journals on here help me stay on track or inspire me to do better. I'm sure with your audio books you'll get the commitment back in no time. Have a great day, Mike!

i just feel like im letting to much sugar an carbs come back into the house..thinking that if i can get my fat ratio up higher an my protein down an still be able to perform on bike like i have been..will be a good thing..and im tired of gettting on scales an theres never any news to report...just seems to stay around the 279 range..i know guess i should be happy..just have more expectations i guess...

With all the riding you have been doing, isn't it possible that you have been losing fat all along -- building more muscle? I know that periiodically the body has to readjust its composition -- meaning the scale won't show anything. Your clothes must be getting looser. On the other hand, shaking things up a bit .. perhaps longer faster times. You are doing the 16:8 IF now, right?

At one time I was doing 16/8...but I've noticed that to hasn't been staying on track...its just me letting myself skate...thinging that the workouts will cover it all...listening to fat for fuel...has reminded me of what I should be doing an that fat is more important to stay in keto...im beginning to think.. that I need to cut down on protein...and raise my fat intake...to get more in focus...and to be able to fast longer between meals

I am in the process of reading that book too. Gosh. I have so many to read these days. It makes life interesting and is keeping my head in the game for the most part. I truly believe we need a long break between meals. Eating on the 16:8 IF makes me feel better whether I am losing or not. Definitely not eating before bedtime helps. You'll get this worked out. Since you are so athletic, don't cut out the protein too low.

I went with audiobooks..figured I would be more likely to finish the book...

That is a great idea actually. I could listen to them while driving in the car, couldn't I? Any place I usually go takes at least 30 minutes. LOL!
