Flashback Thursday, As I was at the gym , I was standing on the weight scale, and I remember when the scale would not weigh me as it only went up to 400#s, I use to weigh on a meat scale at work that went up to 600#s.Slowly I gradually went down in weight, started with 350# plus weight then 300#s, then 250#s then 200 #s,now I'm using the 150# plus some weight, still in ONEDERLAND, I really gave myself a chuckle as I stepped off the scale.I was also at the Dr. yesterday whom I only see once a year, he came into the room and quickly excused himself saying sorry wrong patient, he then came back in after a minute and said he really did not recognize me, as my body has changed so much..Gave me a GREAT Compliment. Had a GOOD feeling and I was :-).And my journey goes on..

You are such an inspiration. I'm not a professional chef but I love to cook. We are a family of six and I cook dinner every day. I recently had 250 at my house for a pig roast and I catered the entire thing myself. I honestly was feeling nervous about it but I had read your bio and I thought, " I can do this". I was fine and invited about 25 people back next day to eat the leftovers. I can't wait to see my doctor in September, he has no idea that I have been losing weight. He saw me in March and I was 215. I expect to be at about 160-165 when I see him in September. Your journal entries and FS in general have been a huge motivating factor for me, especially of late. Thank you..

How inspiring! Thanks for sharing your experience! I too remember those days when I was afraid and embarrassed to get on the scale. In 2003, over 330 lbs. This morning, 173.2 lbs and fit as a fiddle 😊
