28wks day 4 pregnancy: 10 mins left in this 3 hr glucose test. i crochet'd the entire time. talked with a couple of moms, and the receptionist here and there. Strangely enough, I used to have SEVERE social anxiety and dreaded talking to strangers, to the point I'd ignore someone when they spoke to me, because my brain seems to forget English and my stutter returns, my Greek accent does seem to amplify too. it's mild now after living in US for most of my life. After working with my therapist on trauma processing for 2.5 years, Im much more at ease when having conversation with people I've never met before. it's a nice NSV.

It certainly is nice. I am able to talk to strangers but I don't trust them. Comes from being around too many untrustworthy adults as a child. I am always wary in public. If a stranger approaches me and says something like, "I was wondering if I could ask you......?", I am usually feeling quite uncomfortable. It initiates my fight or flight mechanism.
