week 28 day 3 pregnancy: (total gain 16lbs) I failed the 1 hr glucose test; taking the 3 hr glucose test on Friday: day before we leave for vacation. The same happened with my youngest, and I passed the 3-hour glucose test. Hoping for same result this time. if not, I still have my blood glucose test from pre-diabetic time.
I started taking the unisom again for sleep at night. I've been having a hard time with sleep lately. I'm sleeping better, but hate waking up to that sharp stabbing pain in my hip.
Yesterday, we bought 2 more roses and a Recurved Larch tree at a botanical nursery yesterday, and was helping my youngest learn to ride his bike. Appts everyday this week again, as all of June has been...there's 5 more scheduled baby appointments until my due date. It seems hard to believe. I get weekly sonograms at 36 weeks. The end is in sight. What a year it's been.

Enjoy the moments, Dazey. I always loved those last few weeks of pregnancy. Seems like you turn inward and it becomes more of a focus on you and the coming labor/delivery and new baby. Precious moments. Stay rested as much as possible! (I know, right, with other little ones!) <3

With my second, in the 9th month, I was in a car accident, and was in agonizing pain for the rest of pregnancy. Labor was awful and full of pain. After baby was born, he needed surgery, and my pain was constant so it was a lot of stress and fear of what was to come next. I could hardly hold him with pain in my arms and neck(bulging discs, could have been herniated at the time) and I had 2 bulging discs in low back, which herniated later on. I hope the end of this pregnancy is much better, I've been way more active and gained a lot less weight despite starting this pregnancy at a higher weight.
