Tomorrow is another day! And month! And one week to reunion. I feel like I am eating good foods, just adding in some unnecessary treats.
Today: gym class called Interval Bootcamp. then met with someone to fix my retaining wall and patio. Then 2 interviews each an hour with the two candidates for the job I am helping to hire for. Mowed the lawn. Cooked up some kale and chard which of course started out as two full grocery bags of leafy greens and ended up less than a pint container in the fridge. Now I am going to veg for a couple of episodes of Great British Baking show and go to bed early. I have one more chapter to read of the book my college friend wrote and if I run into him I said I would let him know what I thought of the book.
I will add: I am pleased with my recommendation to my friend to apply for the job. She was one of the finalists, and the board members interviewing felt that her experience and situation fits the job quite well. So, I don't know if she'll get the job but I think it can only help people see me as smart enough to recommend her.
