Yesterday I started working outside in the yard..I hurt so bad today..lol NEVER throw old pumpkins in your garden over winter cause come Spring you will have to pull about 100 pumpkin plants...lol I didnt wanna toss them out so hubby tilled a path in our old garden and we replanted the pumkin plants...I will have so many pumpkins..lol I will likely give them to all the kids in town...Havent started planting our big garden, thats net...Today we are doing yard clean up, and power washing the house..Hubby has this wk off so I was going to have us both catching up on alot of stuff outsdie but he pulled his tendons in his hand so hes limited..dang it!..lol Im going to be 66 yrs old and he jst turned 60..trust me..if you move the same way everyday doing the same thing everyday..its a WHOLE DIFFERENT thing when you start moving different ways outside doing the gardens etc..You feel like your body got hit by a car..lol BUT ya stretch before getting outta bed, say a prayer to Jesus, and thank God you woke 6 ft above ground! You'll be fine!

I like this post! Today, I'm sore all over from planting about 100 plants in my new pollinator meadow. For Mother's day we bought them from a local nursery that sells natives. They were mostly plugs. I planted them in a " meadow " area of my lawn that I killed back and mulched last year. Anyway it was a lot of digging and squating and up and down from the ground. I'm 68 and had a fairly sedentary winter, so yes, it was a full body workout. Today I spent two hours hauling mulch at a garden where I volunteer. Gardening keeps us on this side of the grass. I call it vitamin G.

ty all...also I had both knees replaced 4 yrs ago and after doing all this yard work they get cramp like feelings in them as soon as I lay down to sleep..kinda like restless leg syndromn..stretching or nothing helped..so I rub VICKS on them and BOOM the cramping stops! I rub it on my lower back too..its helps 100%!
