Two parties/BBQ's this weekend and I did way too much of EVERYTHING!!
Surprised I didn't gain 5 pounds. Back on the bike today getting rid of some of these toxins. I haven't had homemade chocolate (of all kinds, cake, candy, martinis) in a long long time and man it was good.
Weight training and heavy bag punching today along with riding my recumbent bike 20/20. 20 minutes in the morning and at night a few hours before bed.
Don't you love Mondays?

really, if you can't have an occasional piece of cake, candy and a martini, life would suck. You need that once in a while and it wasn't 5 pounds - that's a good thing.

So true you two. A weekend is not a lifetime.

YUP!! This should be a lifestyle change, not a diet. So you have to live your life as well and work in those celebration days into your plan.

I believe we can't limit ourselves from fun foods all the time kattay. I did start over Ananda Vorster. It's all good.

What is Ananda Vorster? I never eliminate anything totally from my plan except things that trigger migraines and asthma then I can still have a bit occasionally and I'm usually ok. Moderation, small amounts and they have to taste amazing or one bite is more than enough, not worth eating if it's not amazing.

It's not even about starting over per-say. This is our Lives it's ok to have indulgences and then just hop back on, kinda like a re-start button...I wouldn't say it's a "start over" though. A day, a weekend, or even a week or two aren't going to kill you as long as you have the mindset and tools to move on from that and always remember how you feel eating the good healthy stuff vs having the treats ;) You're doing great! Keep it up! :)
