5 days Post -Surgery: swelling has been lower than expected. I am attributing that to the low sodium, high fiber soups and other dishes I prepped and froze prior to surgery. Been eating a minimum of 3 servings of probiotic foods each day to prevent antibiotic response diarrhea and battle opioid induced constipation. Still only sleeping 1-2 hours at a time. Pain ebbs and flows with activities. Staying away from the scale, but making good- healthy (maintainable) food choices.
