I believe I have found what works best for me. The pounds are coming off, I am following my plan without cheating and I have no feelings of hunger. Lots of water, plain tea and morning coffee are included with no sugar. I gave up adding regular sugar years ago and more recently stopped using the sugar substitute in the yellow package as well. Can hardly contain my excitement as I continue to travel towards the "new me"! :)

Good going! I'm trying to wean myself away from artificial sweeteners as well. I usually use either Stevia or (if I can spare the calories and only need a small amount) raw honey. It's not always easy! You're doing great, have a nice downward trend going on your chart....those are always nice to see!

Thanks onmyway! Well the sweeteners were increasing my fibro pain to the point that I could barely move. Once I stopped using them, the pain level went back to what it was before. PHEW!! NEVER want to experience that kind of pain ever again!!! Odd, Stevia gave me severe headaches. What's nice is that I don't crave sweets anymore...natural or otherwise which is a blessing for me!! I am also using this calorie converter for recipes I see to find out what the nutritional values are PRIOR to investing in the ingredients to make it! My biggest desire right now is to lose the weight and get off of the Type2 Diabetes meds FOR GOOD. :D I hope you are having a great day!!
