I’m trying not to feel guilt ridden but I just had 7 Hersey Kisses.! 160 cal for them. I’m not over my daily calories but still I haven’t had candy in months. I let my boredom and this cozy fireplace break me down lol. I guess I should finish off the nag and spare myself from future slips. I’m kidding lol lol

If the calories fit in your daily allowance, no problem. I have a bowl of Kisses on my kitchen counter year round. Some days I eat some & always count the calories.

Are you DIETING or are you trying to build better habits, become or continue to be healthier by working toward a lifestyle change? A lifestyle change is for the long haul, not just for today or till your birthday, or to loose weight so you can pig out at Christmas. No guilt is required. So you decided to have 7 kisses. Did the sky fall in, was it on the local news, no. You ate them and enjoyed them and now you just move on. No punishing deprivation required for YOUR “sins”. Few people can go a lifetime without enjoying some of the wonderful foods out there. But, you MUST learn portion control and moderation. Healthier eating most of the time and less healthy or less conducive to maintaining your goals just once in a while.
