Have you heard the news? Stanford University did a 1 year study of all popular diets and guess who came out #1 as being the best? ATKINS Of course we all know this because we have done our research, but to all of those critics out there "IN YOUR FACE!" Atkins proved to be the best as far as lowering your cholesterol, lowering blood pressure, for weight loss, and overall improved health! I have to go and copy the article and rub it in some certain people's faces. Last night I was trying on some of my size 18's and they were still too tight and I was all bummed out - - - - Not anymore! I have a new pep in my step - - a new gleam in my eye. I won't give up! I am improving my health and losing weight and if anyone has something smart to say about it I have Stanford on my side!!! LOL OK - so that is my inspirational speach of the day. :-)

Yea! I am glad you found something works for you! Personally, the Atkins Diet didn't work for me, but if it works for YOU, GO FOR IT! By all means, do not listen to any naysayers about your diet! You're doing this for YOURSELF, not for them. Stick with it!

I'm going to use the Atkins. What is the difference between Atkins and South Beach? Is there a place where I can find quantities for each food group? All I can see is that carbs are limited to 20g per day. Is everything else unlimited? Thanks for your help and your inspiration. I, too, heard the report on the news - briefly - but enough to spark my interest! Thanks.
