Diet Hopping
I am feeling inspired about Atkins. Not really sure how to use it yet, but am interested in the difference between Atkins and South Beach. I've used SB several times but always slip back to sweets again and gaining my weight back - ARGH! Anyone else find themselves hopping around? Does anyone think Weight Watchers is the best route? I'm soooooo confused - too many options! Thanks for any help you have.

12 weeks to Christmas
Sandi: Don't use Christmas as your goal - too many days between now and then! Just start with 5% weight loss, then another 5%, etc. That is how I plan to do it this time. Hang in there, Marina.

Starting again
Helcha, I hear ya! Soooooooooo many WW memberships - I should've bought stock back in 1981. This time I'm using my points materials and going it alone - joined fatsecret for support, guidance and a place to get ideas. Oh, ya, weighing in and seeing the chart is also a good visual tool. Hang in there - I'm with you. Do you know about the Core program? I'm not sure if I should just stick to my points. Thanks, Marina

Question: I have all of the supplies for the point system at my house (have had 8 WW memberships since 1973) and would like to know the difference from points vs. core - anyone familiar with it? Thanks, Marina

starting over
I was successful about 15 months ago in losing 22 lbs. on South Beach. I am starting over again on phase 1 - YIKES! - any tips on being able to go through it again; I've started several times over the summer and can't seem to do it; I'm hoping with fatsecrets I can stick to it. Started the day off okay, then ate 1/2 tub of Marshmallow Fluff. Thanks.
