Happy 😃 😃 gloomy Sunday….

Rain on the way…o well…all my work is inside…starting to see the empty drawers on my side of house…and sisters side making progress as well…

Old friend coming over shortly to get a stereo cabinet my dad made for me 45 years ago that …there are things you have to part with…at least 10 times with me over the years…never fell apart….was well made….not like cheap stuff now..one move…it’s junk….he’s wanted it every since I showed it to him the first day….it’s no longer a stereo cabinet…instead inside are wooden models I use to make with a picture of the car…a band saw and belt sander…piece by piece shaped to the right shape…back in days I could see…I kno it’s in good hands….

Light moving today..my body is tired…not sure anout a ride…whoop showing in the red…sleep and rest both needed…

For everyone out there…every year..you need to go thru your belongings…if you no longer use it..time to part company and downsize…you will be happy you did…it’s only material things..you will always have memories…

Have a fantastic positive day…

You are making progress! Yeah!! I agree, after our last move to our retirement community six years ago, I swore I would not have so much stuff. But, as I open closets and drawers, and oh boy, hubby’s garage, we are not in a good place. Great reminder before we transition to independent and/or assisted living. Have a fabulous day!

happy Sunday mike. it's hard letting things go I totally feel you. often I force myself to do it. my parents still have a lot of my baby stuff. I'm 43 now and most of it is not safe for my own kids. they have paths through the basement to get to the washer and bathroom.

Made me cry Mike, 😢! I know I have to downsize and I know I will be happier. I have a huge beautiful cabinet, full of all sorts of beautiful wine and cocktail glasses, but we don’t drink and with open shelving I have monthly had to wash all the glasses over and over, for as long as I am old, minus 20 years. What was all that time for? Brother! Take care and have a Stupendous Sunday! 👍🌺
