Day 21 of the Daniel fast. I've lost just over 11 pounds. And 7 pounds in the middle of the 3rd week of another challenge - walking at least 1 mile a day. I don't have much produce in the house. Will roast half a yam today and the rest of a bag of frozen corn and have a banana for breakfast. Also almonds to eat. I probably shouldn't have made plans to go out of town so quickly after the fast ended, I had planned to break the fast slowly. But life happens.

11? that's a decent amount just by going vegan for couple weeks!

yohoyoh - I'm happy with the loss for sure! Just hope I don't put it back on when I break the fast. I've lost a similar amount of weight before when I gave up all processed foods and meats for a months and was eating a lot more vegetables. I just couldn't stay on that WOE. Hoping to start eating more vegetables with minimal amounts of my usual food.

Yeah. My Daniel fast failed last year with me eating so many veggies that I gained all pretty much all the weight back on veggies, before the month was over 🤦🏼♂️... But if you can keep your appetite in check and staying heavy on greens, I bet you can do it just fine.

Thanks yohoyoh, Bella, and rgaDawg. Just under 10 hours left! The first couple days were difficult and so are the last couple. In the midst of the fast it was pretty easy, knew I had to stay within the parameters of the foods allowed and work on meals using them. Not sure how this will end or how I will do in the days ahead. Especially next week when I take a 4 day vacation.
