Fell of the keto wagon, hard. I feel like I'm back to my starting point and I'm afraid to weight myself. I managed to keep my calories per day under control but I feel like I'm retaining water or something. It's been a hard stressful week. But I've done something that's for the betterment of my family's lives. With my contract at work not being renewed, I've decided to study full time! It's kind of humiliating that I'll be studying with kids half my age, but in these days finding work in SA is not easy. You need more. I've paid a deposit, so there's no backing out. And my amazing family has my kids and I living back home. They are so supportive but I'm so scared. But it looks like 2020 will be interesting.

Don’t think of it as humiliating at all. You are bettering yourself which is something to be proud of no matter what your age. And if keto isn’t for you well then it’s not for you!

It’s only natural to be scared. If you want it bad enough. You will succeed. Don’t let anything stand in your way. You can do anything when you put your mind to it. I wish you all the success in 2020. Do it for you and your kids❣️

Don't feel humiliated. There's a lot of older people who are studying full time. There's a lot of people who've decided to change their careers and follow a different career path because they feel unhappy or unfulfilled in their current careers. There is a growing trend where people are no longer afraid to make the change. I know a few people who've done this, and I've considered it myself. And...there are people who just enjoy learning, and keep going back to study different fields.
