Hard week.

I weighed in at a +2 yesterday and was really down.

This past week was my week for retaining water and having the urge to eat everything in the fridge. I understand that the fluctuation is normal and that by tomorrow I should feel back to normal, and hopefully see a difference on the scale at the next meeting. I didn't stop working out, I worked out harder and longer...I am up to 50 mins on the Treadmill and 2 mins on the stationary bike.

After my workout, I felt a little bit better...the workout brings my motivation back. I want results on the scale but have noticed a bit of change in the way my clothes fit but I am sure that once I hit 10 pounds and beyond, the real changes will be felt.

My goal for this week is to ensure I eat breakfast EVERY day and drink my 6+ glasses of water. The breakfast thing has been a real challenge but I know that I actually do feel better and have more energy for the day when I eat it.

So...I gained 2 pounds, but also gained some perspective.

Happy Weekend everyone!

I was glad to read the determination and plan in your comments. Your exercise situation sounds very good, and if you are feeling a difference in your clothing - I think that is very encouraging. The scale can lag, but your clothing will tell the story. Good luck with your breakfast and water goal. I find if I have the same breakfast evey day for a week it makes things easier as I don't have to be figuring out the points before my head is working. I also find that having a glass of water first thing in the morning can help wih the water goal.

Way to go on that exercise! I agree with A G and L, the true measure is in how those clothes fit. It's a new week and your goals sound like good ones, best of luck! We CAN do this! (O:

Don't wory about the 2lbs, and you did a great job with the exercising. Also, about breakfast - you have to eat it!! If nothing but a cereal bar on your way to work, as long as you have something! Keep it up, your doing a great job!
