Can somebody explain what "RDI" is based on?

Diet Calendar Entries for 27 May 2010:

I beleive it is based on what your 'Recommended Daily Intake' is to maintain your weight

Okay, so I'm going to forget about points and go to the RDI instead (sick of figuring out points anyway). How did you figure out yours? Thanks!

somewhere on the side bar it asks you if you want to change your RDI just go to it and I'm pretty sure it explains it. I hope :)

Go to where you enter your food and at the bottom of the page click on the graph that says RDI and it will show you.

Thanks Jackie for your nice words on my journal - means a lot to me! Okay, I'm going to go there and see what I can figure out on the RDI thing.
