I've eaten over 500g of ORANGES today! The navel oranges I bought the other day were HUGE - just like I wait for all year long! They are the ones with the really thick skin that peels even more easily than a clementine!

This one was small but sweet. It came in my package from Imperfect Produce. But I also received 2 very large beets, so I'm making very hummus to take to my sister's for Easter. Also, a very large rutabaga that I spiralized to used in a mushroom ragout.
I do love the big navel oranges, too. Enjoy!

The bread is HEB's seedelicious, of which I'm very fond.
In my earlier post I'm making beet hummus, NOT very hummus. Honestly, where does auto-correct get these words?

I was wondering about the "very" hummus. I've still never had hummus. I always see the Sabra brand at the grocery store. Should I try it?

I had beet falafel once, and that was really good. I have never had beet hummus though, I imagine its pretty yummy! So I'm also from Houston, where did you get the Imperfect Produce, if I may ask?

@Pixie, go to www.imperfectproduce.com. Each week they send you a list of what is available and you choose which items you want. They deliver to your door in a cardboard box with little to no internal packaging. I get every other week, last delivery included 3 kinds of mushrooms, very large beets, artichokes, sunchokes, mini peppers, zucchini, pears, ruby red grapefruit and navel oranges.
